U.S. Spy Chief Confirms Government Eyes May Be Watching Via IoT Gadgets

In the “Worldwide Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community” report delivered to the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said, “In the future, intelligence services might use the IoT (Internet of Things) for identification, surveillance, monitoring, location tracking, and targeting for recruitment, or to gain access to networks or user credentials.”
